All NATURWERK products bear the Senso Check quality seal. It represents our commitment to not only carefully developing nature-based products, but also to verifying their quality in a transparent manner.

Behind the seal is Phytochem Referenzsubstanzen GmbH, with its many years of experience in natural product research and analytics. The products are thoroughly evaluated and quality-tested as part of the Senso Check testing cycle.

For us, quality does not begin with the finished product. It starts with the selection and assessment of the raw materials used and continues throughout the entire process up to the final product.

Additional, unannounced quality controls in the Phytochem laboratory are an integral part of the testing cycle and ensure that the quality of NATURWERK products is checked on a regular basis.

Quality begins with the raw materials

The quality of a natural product begins long before it is bottled and packaged. That is why we place special emphasis on the careful selection and assessment of our raw materials.

Nature-based raw materials can be subject to natural variations. Origin, time of harvest, processing, and storage can influence their properties. Therefore, it is crucial for us not only to pay attention to the origin of a raw material, but also to carefully assess its quality.

An important component of our products is high-quality olive oil. We source our olive oil from Dal Nonno, a family with a long tradition of cultivating their olive groves in Sicily. The olives are traditionally harvested by hand there and processed gently.

Behind the Senso Check quality seal is a testing process in which the quality of the products is analytically examined and evaluated.

In the Phytochem testing laboratory, selected quality criteria are examined and the products undergo an expert assessment. As a result, quality is not judged solely by appearance, smell, or consistency, but is also analytically verified wherever possible and appropriate.

Another component of the Senso Check testing cycle is unannounced quality inspections of NATURWERK products.

Thus, the seal does not stand for a one-time inspection, but for a standard that is maintained even after product development.
